The Swix
V-Line of kick/grip waxes are excellent all-purpose grip waxes designed for
classic, light touring and backcountry touring. Each V wax has two
specific temperature ranges, one for falling and new fallen snow with
sharper snow crystal structure, and the other for older snow with
rounded crystals.

V05 Polar
For the coldest of conditions. New Snow: 10°F to -12°F, Old Snow: 5°F to -22°F.
V20 Green
For very cold conditions. New Snow: 5°F to 18°F, Old Snow: 0°F to 12°F.
V30 Blue
Designed for cold conditions. New Snow: 28 to 14°F, Old Snow: 23 to 5°F.
V40 Blue Extra
For normal, subfreezing temperatures. New Snow: 30 to 19°F, Old Snow: 27 to 12°F.
V45 Violet Special
A flexible wax for temperatures around freezing and colder. New Snow: 32 to 27°F, Old Snow: 28 to 21°F.
V50 Violet
Designed for moist snow around freezing. New Snow: 32°F, Old Snow: 32 to 27°F.
V55 Red Special
For slightly moist new snow around freezing, and old snow below freezing. New Snow: 34 to 32°F, Old Snow: 32 to 28°F.
