Durability is of primary importance for junior skis, especially skis designed for this age range. The Ski Tiger comes with a rugged poplar wood core, and ABS sidewalls - tough stuff. It has a stable 52/47/49 sidecut and a deep waxless pattern makes it easy to grip. New this year is a sintered base, an upgrade from extruded bases of the past. There are no pre-mounted bindings on these skis so we can mount SNS or NNN bindings to fit your boots.

These skis are designed as kid's touring skis to give kids a stable platform on which to learn. They are the only skis we sell that are sized by height rather than weight. This sizing is to accommodate a child's motor skills and comfort level on skis.

For children in the 3-5 year age range, skis should match the child's height. Older children should have skis 10cm to 30cm taller than their height.
