This thinner scraper can flex a little and in some cases it can remove wax that a thicker scraper cannot. With cold/hard waxes this scraper can be very effective after one or two passes with the 5mm scraper to remove wax that the 5mm scraper could not get, which can help reduce scraping and brushing time. Care must be used to keep the scraper square to the base to prevent deflections and potentially nicking or denting the base. This scraper is easier to sharpen than the thicker model. Toko scrapers have rounded corners that can be used scrape wax from ski base grooves. Size: 5 x 2.25 inches.
