TOKO S3 Hydro Carbon Wax - blue is a hydrocarbon wax designed to be a general purpose wax or base layer for race waxes in  temperatures of 14° to -22°. It is used to harden-off ski bases in extremely cold conditions, and as mentioned it can help with the durability of a fluorinated layer as a base layer. The TOKO S3 series uses the same, easy, color-coded system as the fluorinated waxes that cover  the entire temperature range and they can be mixed to dial in the temperature conditions further. Sold in blocks of 167 grams.
