From trailhead to summit, this waterproof, breathable jacket offers incredible protection and lightweight mobility. The stretchy, matte-finish fabric is coated with a microporous polyurethane laminate to allow body moisture through while keeping wind, rain and snow out. The inner fabric is also coated with a finish which provides protection to the membrane and creates a lighter and more compressible fabric package. Each seam is fully taped to provide maximum protection and the zippered pockets are watertight to keep stored valuables safe.
We love the three way adjustable hood and its elasticity to fit over a ski helmet, hat or beanie. The adjustable drawcord allows you to custom fit the jacket’s snugness, and the articulated elbows permit greater arm flexibility and movement. This is a perfect storm-shell for mountainous activities, and leaves room to layer underneath for added warmth. One of the more comfortable stormshells we have experienced, the fit also is perfect. Not too short in the torso or the arms, and not too bulky around the middle. So lightweight it is hard to notice when it is even on, except that you are still dry after battling the elements.
