Ski Pole Sizing:
Nordic
ski poles are listed as their total length from end-to-end from the tip
to the end of the handle/grip. This is not the functional length since
the basket is usually at the snow surface and straps hang down a bit
from the top of the handle.
The chart listed below is a good starting point for general and recreational skiing.
For racers, expert skiers or for touring skiers who frequently ski in deep snow, use the "Quick & Easy Method".

Convert your height to centimeters Multiply by .9 Equals your pole length in centimeters
Classic and Deep Snow Touring Poles:
Convert your height to centimeters Multiply by .85 Equals your pole length in centimeters
