Things we like:
We have had a fair amount of time on skis as well as lots of time to see what products are fitting well. Here is a quick synopsis.
Skis: Probably the biggest stir in West Yellowstone was the revolutionary Atomic SkinTec. I wasn't able to demo these skis because they were always out when I checked, but Eloise and Zach did get out on them as did a number of customers and the reviews were excellent.
Boots: The Rossi X10 and the Salomon RS and RC Carbon have fit very well for people with average to narrow feet. The Atomic World Cup Skate and Classic are excellent for skiers with average to wide feet.
Ski Pants: We have been super impressed with the Bjorn Daehlie Winner Pant for it's flexibility in fit, and its ability to look great on a variety of body types. This pant fits best on skiers with average and shorter inseams.
Did you know?
that it can be more important to flex-test waxless touring and classic skis for proper fit, than wax-able skis? Nordic Ski Source is the only shop that we are aware of that spends just as much time flex-testing waxless skis as waxable for residual camber to insure that skis fit right.
