Cera F FC Powder - FC7, FC8, FC10 - 30gr packages


 
Swix introduced Cera F in 1987 creating a new high performance product for racers looking for the ultimate in ski glide. Since then Swix has updated and reformulated the Cera F line to increase its versatility in a variety of conditions. The Swix Cera F line has a unique combination of characteristics that include a high degree of purity, low surface tension (increased glide), friction reduction, water repellency, resistance to dirt and oils, and chemical inertness and stability.

FC7 - Cera F Powder
This is the Cera F for cold conditions, and/or cold dry conditions with a wide temperature range of -22° to 28° F. Use with a base wax of LF or HF 6 and 7 or HF6BD or HFBD7. Recommended iron temperature of 300° F.
FC8 - Cera Powder
The temperature range for this powder falls within the average, normal winter temperatures, and therefore FC8 is the most used of all Cera F waxes. Temperature range is +4�C to -4�C (40�F to 25�F). FC8 is ironed once. Maximum ironing temperature setting of 150�C (300�F). One pass with the iron taking no more than 5 or 6 seconds. Roto-Cork or hand corking application is also possible. The base waxes for FC8 are HF8, HF8BW or LF8. 30 gram packages.
FC10 - Cera Powder
This powder is designed for very wet conditions. The temperature range is from +2�C to +20�C (36�F to 68�F). Good during thawing conditions, late season when there is strong sun effect, and wet falling snow at 0�C (32�F). Iron once at maximum ironing setting of 150�C (300�F) with a 5 or 6 second pass of the iron. Application with the Roto-Cork or hand corking is also possible. The base waxes for FC10 are HF10, HF10BW or LF10. 30 gram packages.
FC10B - Cera Powder
For dirty and wet snow with air temperatures between 32 and 68 degrees. Excellent spring or late season wax. Same application as FC10.
