The X-10 boots arrived this afternoon in t-me to
get my bindings mounted. They are beautiful...most important, they fit really
well. I will get to try them along with my new skis tomorrow. I really

"Recently moved
to Bozeman. Background: competitive runner and experienced downhill
skier. Interested in getting into skate skiing. Went to Nordic Ski
Source and Doug spent two full hours with me, going over all the pros and cons
of each piece of equipment and all the factors to consider to get the right
fit. Doug treats this as a science and he precisely measures the
stiffness of each ski (the most critical factor) using a calibrated force gauge
in his shop, and matches the stiffness to your weight to make sure you get the
perfect fit. Bought a full Atomic/Salomon entry-level racing skate ski
package. Was so impressed that I brought my wife the next week and she
bought her own Salomon mid-level skate ski package. We've been out at Sourdough
and Bohart several times, and all the equipment feels great. Thanks

I did not know about Nordic Ski Source until recently.
Doug very patiently spent several hours with my daughter helping her
choose gear, taking measurements, and dealing with mel. Doug and other
Nordic Ski Source staff were great in explaining, helping us select
appropriate equipment, and detailing the skis.
I highly recommend this shop. I trust Doug with my daughter's skiing and
my money.
The skis are being used for the first time in West Yellowstone and my
daughter reports that she feels like a butterfly on the snow!
Doug also assisted my 3 year old in with child rental equipment. He was
very kind in allowing us to use the gear at a reasonable rate with the
knowledge that kids grow fast so there is no sense in wasting money on a
purchase. Instead of garbage... gear my little one could enjoy his

Just wanted to thank
you again for going through the trouble of getting the xc ski poles to
Williamstown MA for me. They arrived safely and you were absolutely
right, that extra 5cm was good added length in the deep snow. It ended up
being pretty icy out there. They had had a series of snowfalls and then
sleet storms, so it was a layer cake of snow and ice! I appreciate all

I wanted to let you know that I love my new skis! I ended up
doing the Birkie (actually, I did the Korte Lopet) on them and everything
went very well. They feel very good under my feet. My old skis were
giving me some troubles the day before the race - squirrelly - and I am so glad
I had my new skis which were way more stable. So, thanks again for all
the time you spent explaining things and for your patience. Our snow is
all gone, but some remains in Wisconsin. Looking toward Spring and roller
skiing, but one never knows, we may get a freak snow storm. I have a

a line on how appreciative I am of the customer service you have given me
pertaining to my ski's. Most could have just as easily ignored my issue
and told me there is nothing that could be done, but you took the
time to go the extra mile.
Although skate skiing
is a small nitch in Western New York, you can be assured I've been and will

Doug and Calisa -- got my ski package on Friday and got a
chance to ski both Saturday and Sunday.
A bit icy here but workable. Your
stuff is head and shoulders above any cross country skis I used before. Everything worked well together and my
