This is your core sharpener, and it should be one of your first tool purchases. When your scraper dulls, there is a tendency to push down harder on the base which can compress the structure and it can lead to damaging skids and deflections across the ski base. The World Cup Sharpener holds a plexi scraper perpendicular from both sides to keep your edges 90 degrees, and yet the scraper easily slides through and across the panzer file. Keep your scrapers sharp and your scraping passes delicate with this excellent tool.
